Monkey 47, is a gin created with influences from England, The Black Forest and India. It was created by a certain Montgomery Collins, the son of a diplomat who also spent time in India. Monkey 47 as its name suggests has 47 ingredients in it. Herbs and berries from The Black Forest and exotic Asian botanicals. The result is a gin made with extremely soft spring water with the aroma of juniper, a crisp citrus note and a hint of pepper. No monkey business this.
